Love You Live
Attraction The Rolling Stones, music, advertising promotional poster for
The Rolling Stones' 1977 live album, Love You Live. The distinctive artwork was designed by Andy Warhol, a leading figure in the pop art movement.
Artwork Details

Artist: The cover art was created by Andy Warhol, who took a series of Polaroid photographs of the band members, including the "biting" photos featured in the collage.
Mick Jagger's Contribution: Mick Jagger personally added the hand-drawn, thick, black block letter titles across the front of the album cover and poster.
Warhol's Reaction: According to his diaries, Warhol was dismayed and angered by Jagger's additions, feeling that the singer had "ruined" the artwork by writing all over it. He believed his original design, which had no text, would be enough to identify the album.
The "Biting Hand" Photo: The central image of Jagger biting a hand is reportedly his daughter Jade's hand. Other images in the collage show band members appearing to bite each other.
