Comicos
Spanish One sheet movie poster for the 1954 Spanish drama film
Cómicos (English title: Comedians), directed and written by Juan Antonio Bardem. The film stars Fernando Rey, Emma Penella, Elisa Galvé (credited as Christian Galvé), and Rosario García Ortega.
The movie is a tribute to the traveling theatre companies of Spain in the 1940s and 50s, a world the director knew well as the son of actors. It tells the story of Ana Ruiz, a young actress hoping for her big break, who prioritizes success over her relationship. Bardem was inspired by the American film All About Eve (1950) for the plot.

The poster for the film
Cómicos was designed by the acclaimed Spanish artist Francisco Fernández-Zarza Pérez, who was known professionally by the pseudonym Jano. His signature, "Jano," is visible in the top right corner of the poster.
Jano (1922–1992) was a highly prolific Spanish poster designer and illustrator whose work in cinema advertising spanned several decades. He created thousands of posters for both national and international films, and his style is closely linked to the visual culture of post-war Spain.
