Keith Haring IV #D Pop Shop Radiant Baby
Fine art serigraph by Keith Haring 16.5 x 13.5 inches with 3 colors (the black ink is very thick and glossy). Signed in pencil "K. Haring 89 (cirle x)". Small embossment of a lizard on lower left. at lower left verso written in pencil "KH-P-58BN" there are no watermarks in the paper. Print was received in a simple frame measuring 24.75 x 21.5 x 1.25 with plexiglass glazing. The print was "float mounted" using 4 waterbased self-adhesive linen hinges, one in each corner. The backing to which the art was mounted shows yellowing around the area that the art was mounted (most likely caused by exposure to light). The print displays significant planar distortion caused by restricted expansion.

This frame which contains acid free hinging materials and 100% rag, should be hung away from sunlight in low, indirect light. To clean the plexiglass facing use only plexiglass cleaner and soft cloth.
Due to the nature of the paper and printing process, original fine art prints often do not lay completely flat (especially during humid weather conditions).

Procedures
Frame was opened and hinges were cut to free the artwork from the frame. Print was photographed and examined on a light table and under strong light and magnification. The results of the examination are documented herein. Conclusion
Recommend hinge removal but not flattening because there is a strong possibility that the thick black ink could fracture if the artwork is sufficiently humidified.Disclaimer
