Poster Details

Artist: Ronald Lampitt (1906–1988), known for his distinctive style which also appeared in Ladybird Books and other railway company posters.
Railway Company: Originally produced for the London Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS), but also featured the Great Western Railway (GWR) logo as seen in your image.
Date: Circa 1937.
Imagery: The poster depicts a stylishly dressed woman relaxing with a glass of the town's famous spa water in the foreground, with the Jephson Gardens and the Royal Pump Room and Baths visible in the background.
Purpose: It promoted Leamington Spa as a fashionable destination for "taking the waters" and enjoying the tranquil gardens.
