About the "Gunpowder Drawings"
Ruscha developed a unique technique for these works, soaking gunpowder pellets in water to create a fine powder that could be rubbed onto paper using cotton swabs and Q-tips. This method allowed for warm tones and delicate gradations that some initially mistook for airbrushing. The series is a significant part of Ruscha's work, exploring the visual appearance and materiality of words.

VI) The Client may not disclose or distribute this Evaluation Report to any potential purchasers of the subject property without first obtaining PM-LAPG's prior written consent. This consent must be obtained before this evaluation report may be disclosed or distributed to any other party, including, but not limited to, the public through advertising, public relations, news, sales, or other media.
