Design: The artists incorporated the well-known logo of the French Zig-Zag rolling papers company. This logo features a legendary Zouave soldier.
Significance: This poster, part of the Family Dog series (FD-14), is an important symbol of the 1960s counter-culture. It is often considered the first San Francisco concert poster announcing Janis Joplin's performance with Big Brother and the Holding Company.
Quote: Due to the use of the rolling paper company's design, the artists included the quote: "What you don't know about copying and duplicating won't hurt you" on the original prints.
