Plot Summary
The story is a "locked-room" mystery set in the sky. While traveling on a private plane, a passenger is found murdered in a locked compartment. The primary suspect is Pat Evans (played by Kaaren Verne), a German refugee. Detective Nick Carter is convinced of her innocence and uncovers a plot involving Fifth Columnists—a group of Nazi saboteurs and spies operating in the United States.
