The film was the first in a series of six "Bob Allen, Ranger" pictures produced by Columbia Pictures to replace their outgoing star Ken Maynard.

Plot Synopsis: Bob Allen plays an undercover Ranger who takes a job on the Wright ranch to track down a group of elusive rustlers. In a unique twist for the genre, the actual rustler they are looking for turns out to be a horse.

Martha Tibbetts: Plays the female lead, Ann Wright (sometimes listed as Alice).
Harry Woods: Portrays the villainous Vance Rand.
