The film is the third and final installment in director Robert Rodriguez's "Mexico" or "Mariachi" trilogy, which began with El Mariachi and continued with Desperado. It features a star-studded cast shown on the poster, including:
Antonio Banderas as the legendary guitar-slinging hitman, El Mariachi.
Salma Hayek as Carolina.
Johnny Depp as the psychotic CIA agent Sheldon Sands.
