1979 Japanese movie poster created for the "Godzilla 25th Anniversary Festival".
This special theatrical event, also known as the Godzilla Movie Large Complete Set of Works, was a retrospective that screened several classic films in the franchise. The poster features an action-packed montage of several iconic monsters (kaiju) from the Showa era, including:

Godzilla and Mechagodzilla
King Ghidorah
Rodan (flying in the upper right)
King Kong (holding a large rock)

Poster Details

Release Year: 1979
Occasion: Celebrated the 25th anniversary of the original 1954 Godzilla film.
Format: It was commonly printed as a B2 size (51 x 73 cm) poster or a smaller B5 size "Chirashi" (mini-poster/flyer) used for promotion in theaters.
Historical Significance: The 1979 festival was a major success, selling over 60,000 tickets and helping to spark the renewed interest that eventually led to the 1984 film, The Return of Godzilla.
