Historical Significance
The Burgdorf-Thun-Bahn, featured prominently at the top of the poster, was notable for being the first European standard-gauge railway to be fully electrified when it opened in 1899. Today, these three historic lines are part of the larger BLS group (Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon).
