One sheet original vintage advertising poster for the Sports Carnival (Sporta Karnev?ls) held in Riga, Latvia, on February 28, 1939. Event and Poster Details The poster promotes a festive event organized by the sports association "Starts" (Sporta b-ba „ Starts”). Location: The carnival took place in the Golden Hall (Zelta z?l?) of the Riga Latvian Society House, located at Mer?e?a 13.Artistic Style: The artwork features a rhythmic, energetic composition typical of the modernist and Art Deco styles prevalent in Latvia during the 1920s and 30s. Entertainment: The event featured two orchestras, "Jautrie odi" and "N. Ka?epa", and dancing (DEJA) that lasted from 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM. Highlights: A key part of the evening was the awarding of the "best masks" (Lab?ko masku godalgošana). The Riga Latvian Society House, where this took place, was a central hub for Latvian culture and social life before it was liquidated in 1940 following the Soviet occupation.

If it has relied on significant evaluation assistance from any individual or individuals in the performance of this evaluation or the appropriation of this evaluation report, PM-LAPG has named such individuals and disclosed the specific task performed in this evaluation report. PM-LAPG certifies that any individual so named is qualified to the same extent as PM to perform the task. PM-LAPG has not authorized anyone to make a change to any item in this evaluation report, therefore, any change made to this evaluation is unauthorized and PM-LAPG will not take responsibility for it.
VI) The Client may not disclose or distribute this Evaluation Report to any potential purchasers of the subject property without first obtaining PM-LAPG's prior written consent. This consent must be obtained before this evaluation report may be disclosed or distributed to any other party, including, but not limited to, the public through advertising, public relations, news, sales, or other media.
