Synopsis: After a fight with her boyfriend Jeff "Moondoggie" Matthews (Darren), Francie "Gidget" Lawrence (Walley) reluctantly joins her parents on a Hawaiian vacation. While there, she meets and becomes involved with a famous dancer, Eddie Horner (Callan), leading to a series of romantic misunderstandings when Moondoggie unexpectedly arrives to surprise her.
