Before One sheet previously mounted and restored vintage movie poster for the 1956 Walt Disney animated short film titled "Chips Ahoy", which starred Donald Duck, Chip, and Dale. To reach the island, they "borrow" a model ship that belongs to Donald Duck from his fishing shack. The irate Donald notices his ship is missing and attempts several times to get it back and thwart their plan. The cartoon features a classic battle of wits where the chipmunks outsmart Donald, ultimately getting their acorns while Donald is left stranded. Significance Chips Ahoy was the final theatrical short to feature Chip and Dale in the Golden Age of Animation. It was also the first and only Chip and Dale short to be released in CinemaScope. The short was re-released theatrically in 1985 to accompany the film The Black Cauldron.
