Alphonse Mucha, 1896, color lithograph, 39x15 inches, signed. Print was received mounted to deteriorating linen. It had multiple creases and areas of ink loss and 5 very prominent folds across the width of the print. |
| Print was rinsed with water and had a facing applied using a gelatin resizing treatment. Old linen was then removed from the back of the print. Print was then mounted to new linen and masa with a water soluble adhesive.
Missing paper was added using vintage paper and a compound filler. Restoration was performed using airbrushing, water color and water color pencils. |
