| original chip board backing was removed via a wet abrasion technique, a new board was created comprised of 3 layers of masa and one layer of okawara. top was removed from poster as per client instructions. poster was washed and mounted wet onto the new board which was also wet and pressed under heat at 120 degrees f for 20 minutes. restoration includes replacement of missing paper, airbrushing the yellow, the dark brown and the borders, otherwise only watercolor and colored pencil was used. |
