1938 LETTER SIGNED BY ORSON WELLES WITH PHOTO
Piece came mounted to five (5) mats with double sided tape, masking tape, cloth tape and spray mount adhesive. |
| Removed top three (3) layers of mat board mechanically. Boards closest to pieces were removed with solvent and knife - tape had been used in order to secure loose pieces of the letter, these were removed. Removed adhesive residue with cotton cloth and solvent and secured loose and torn areas at the top with two (2) tissue repairs.
Tape attached to the front of the photograph was removed with solvent and a knife, adhesive residue was removed with cotton cloth and solvent. |
