Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a very interesting group of silent one-sheets from the late 1910s and early 1920s that were found under a carpet in a VERY old house! We have no idea why, but at some point in the early 1920s, someone took around 30 one-sheet posters and placed them in a stack under a carpet (perhaps to hide them?). They stayed there undisturbed for the next 75 or so years, until someone ripped up the carpet and found them. MANY OF THE POSTERS HAD SUSTAINED CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE, WHILE OTHERS WERE NOT THAT DAMAGED AT ALL. |
