| Poster was washed with water and Orvus, and then mounted to linen and masa with a water soluble adhesive. The blue ink reacted to the water by dissolving the color, which allowed the other colors underneath to show through. There was no ink run off or sign that the ink would respond in this manner. Restoration was performed to background and fold lines using airbrush, watercolor, and colored pencil. |
