SON OF KONG window card

Here we see a microscope photo of the "P" in the word "PICTURES" in the RKO logo at bottom center. The analog print and fibrous paper are consistent with those of an authentic window card.
The tip of the pistol which appears on the left side of the image. Though the red all around it has been professionally airbrushed, the analog print and authentic paper are clearly visible in the gun barrel.
The "R" in "ROMANCE" in the text banner at upper center of image. The authentic, naked paper, and original analog printing are clearly visible.
A close up of the woman's left eye. The authentic paper and original analog printing are clearly visible.
A close up shot of the ape's arm. Visible under the microscope, we see the transition from original print, to restorative reconstruction. The restorer took great care to use as little additive pigment as possible and to preserve all of the original image in this area. The restoration in this area is very professionally performed.
The Fine print at bottom right has been completely added by hand. This too has been nicely done, it looks good.
As part of this authentication report we have silk-screened the Poster Mountain Collector Services "fingerprint-tag" on the back in the lower left corner, this tag includes month and year (day has been added in pencil). Because of the nature of silk screening, no 2 prints are identical, and the uniqueness of this particular "tag" has herewith been cataloged in this report.

Conclusion

Authentic, original, professionally restored, US window-card style poster. Re-backed onto a new "chip-board" with at least one layer of conservation paper sandwiched between poster and board. Would strongly recommend against any additional, or alternate conservation or restoration work. Heritage, Grey Smith, window card, horror. Entire right side extending approx. 2.5 inches in, and entire top extending 6.25 inches (Through to the "V" in "ADVENTURE") has been reconstructed. The center left portion of the WC is original, though entirely painted in the red background, the yellow title and all of the border. The restoration was very professionally performed and the card has a nice overall appearance.
