Lillet
Italian 2 panel, vintage French advertising poster for
Kina Lillet, an aperitif wine. The poster, created by the artist known as Robys (Robert Wolff) in 1937, was a major part of Lillet's first advertising campaign for the American market. The artwork depicts a woman emerging from a cluster of grapes and holding a bottle of Lillet and a glass of the beverage.
About the Aperitif

Lillet was founded in 1872 by brothers Paul and Raymond Lillet in Podensac, France.
The original product was named Kina Lillet because it contained quinine liqueur from cinchona bark. The word "kina" is derived from the term for cinchona bark.
In the 1970s, the company removed "Kina" from the name, and in 1986, the formulation was changed to reduce bitterness and sweetness, resulting in the modern Lillet Blanc.
Lillet is a blend of Bordeaux wines and fruit liqueurs. The Blanc variety is made from Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
