Mobilgas
Fine art by Andy Warhol, 38x38 inches on very thick paper. A vertical crease is evident on the left side running the entire length of the print, there may be some pigment added restoratively at the crease, but it is not wholly evident. The print displays mild planar distortion (waviness) particularly around the edges. The print was received in a frame, "float" mounted to a fabric matt with a COA on the verso from Martin Lawrence Gallery (Chalk And Vermillion). The print is signed at bottom left in pencil by Andy Warhol. On the verso are 2 paragraphs printed which read, (trademark) c ANDY WARHOL 1985 PUBLISHER RONALD FELDMAN FINE ARTS, INC. NEW YORK. The other paragraph reads "This interpretation created and copyrighted by Andy Warhol is derived from an original version of the Pegasus trademark of Mobil Oil Corporation and subsidiary corporations. The Pegasus symbol is a registered trademark of Mobil Oil Corporation." The Martin Lawrence inventory # is GRWA 035002 written in pencil on the verso at bottom center.
