Here we see the edge under the microscope. We can clearly see the two distinct layers of dissimilar paper. In this image the layer on the bottom is the remains of an authentic lobby card of lesser value and on top is the layer of modern coated bond paper.

Here we see a microscope image of the "CO" in country. The lobby card was upside down and the camera reverses the image. The thick top layer is all airbrush paint and the letters have been touched up by hand. Underneath the airbrush paint here we can see the paper underneath has been printed with an ink jet printer

Here we see a microscope image taken from the "N" in "presents" as it appears in the lower left portion of the image. All of the red spots were added by the restorer and underneath in the background we see ink jet patterns where the naked paper color should be.

Here a microscope image has been taken from the OVAL GRAPHIC in the upper left portion of the poster. The red spots were added by the restorer but underneath we can see the diagonal patterns made by the ink jet printer.

Here a microscope image taken from the "P" IN "PICTURE". Here we should see raw, naked paper, instead we see the ink jet patterns that mimic the look of old paper.

Here a shot from the woman's dress taken from her left shoulder at the point where her left arm becomes obscured by Dracula's cape. Here, again we can clearly see the ink jet patterns.

Conclusion

THIS CARD WAS NOT PRODUCED BY POSTER MOUNTAIN INC. This is a reproduction of an authentic lobby card made with a digital ink-jet printer. This is a reproduction of an original poster which has been painstakingly made to look, and feel like the original. It is a color copy which has been mounted to the paper from a real lobby card (which has been sanded thin so as to better disguise the forgery) and a very significant amount of restorative media which is not uncommon on original lobby cards has been added to further increase this effect.

PM-LAPG certifies that any individual so named is qualified to the same extent as PM to perform the task. PM-LAPG has not authorized anyone to make a change to any item in this evaluation report, therefore, any change made to this evaluation is unauthorized and PM-LAPG will not take responsibility for it.
VI) The Client may not disclose or distribute this Evaluation Report to any potential purchasers of the subject property without first obtaining PM-LAPG's prior written consent. This consent must be obtained before this evaluation report may be disclosed or distributed to any other party, including, but not limited to, the public through advertising, public relations, news, sales, or other media.
