The edge of the lobby card under the microscope reveals a consistency of the materials which make up the body of the card.
Here we see a microscope image taken from the fine print at bottom right. We can clearly see the layer of airbrush paint in that area and beneath it we can see the analog print and fibrous paper which are consistent with those of known authentic lobby cards from this period.
Here we see a close up, microscope image of the monster's mouth. Both the print style and the fibrous paper are consistent that of an authentic lobby card.
The top left edge of the "T" in "THE" in the title area. The analog print and fibrous paper are both consistent with known authentic lobby cards
Here a microscope image taken from the upper left where the original, naked paper color in the interior graphic meets the light airbrushing in the border.
As part of this report, this item has been tagged on the back, in the lower left corner, with the Poster Mountain Collector Services logo. Because each logo is silk screened individually, no two are alike and the uniqueness of this particular imprint has herein been documented and cataloged. This imprint is water-soluble.
Conclusion
Good condition, well restored BY UNKNOWN PARTY authentic lobby card. Conserved professionally with no substrate and no reinforcements in the restored areas. Minor paper loss in all 4 corners professionally restored with paper fills and local airbrushing at affected areas only. No visible restoration within the image area. The words "Country of" have been replaced by hand.Disclaimer

If it has relied on significant evaluation assistance from any individual or individuals in the performance of this evaluation or the appropriation of this evaluation report, PM-LAPG has named such individuals and disclosed the specific task performed in this evaluation report. PM-LAPG certifies that any individual so named is qualified to the same extent as PM to perform the task. PM-LAPG has not authorized anyone to make a change to any item in this evaluation report, therefore, any change made to this evaluation is unauthorized and PM-LAPG will not take responsibility for it.
VI) The Client may not disclose or distribute this Evaluation Report to any potential purchasers of the subject property without first obtaining PM-LAPG's prior written consent. This consent must be obtained before this evaluation report may be disclosed or distributed to any other party, including, but not limited to, the public through advertising, public relations, news, sales, or other media.
