Here we see a microscope image of the edge of the poster. We can clearly see the layer (pictured here on top) which is comprised of modern paper. Original halfsheet posters are consistent throughout. There should be no layer.
Here a close up image taken from the realart logo. the light colored splotches are restorative type pigment applied with an airbrush. underneath we can see that the paper color has been printed to appear old to the naked eye. The ink-jet printing patterns mimic the look of old paper.
Here a microscope image taken from the "T" in the word "uncut". Clearly visible are the red and blue printing patterns indicative of the type layed down by an ink-jet printer.
An image taken from the whites of the monsters left eye. Here there should be no printing at all, but instead the tell-tale patterns of the ink jet are clearly visible.
Here an image taken from the skeleton where there should be naked paper color. Again we clearly see ink jet printing which mimics the appearance of old paper to the naked eye.
Conclusion
THIS CARD WAS NOT PRODUCED BY POSTER MOUNTAIN INC. This is a reproduction of an authentic halfsheet made with a digital ink-jet printer. This is a reproduction of an original poster which has been painstakingly made to look, and feel like the original. It is a color copy which has been mounted to the paper from a real lobby card (which has been sanded thin so as to better disguise the forgery) and a very significant amount of restorative media which is not uncommon on original lobby cards has been added to further increase this effect.Disclaimer
