Conclusion

Poster was received mounted to board and foam core with very strong adhesives. Adhesive staining is prevalent. Previous restoration is present at the bottom.
The foam core was removed using solvent and then the board and piece were soaked with water under Mylar for approximately 1 hour. Removal of the piece from the board was difficult as two adhesives were found, one water soluble, and the other not water soluble. Only minor losses were incurred at the top right corner where major adhesive damage was present.
Once the piece was removed from the board, gelatin was used to resize the paper and an Okawara paper backing was added.
